Produktlokalisierung - wie funktioniert's?

Hallo,

um mein Programm mit Hilfe von Produktlokalisierung vor dem unerlaubten
Kopieren zu schützen, benötige ich Hardware-Informationen der jeweiligen
Rechner. Was verwendet man da - die Seriennummer des Motherboards? Und wie
kommt man da ran?

Danke,
Emil

Sorry, both are considered german colloquialisms so it's no wonder they
don't translate well.

Was ist los? literally means ~what is loose?~ but it is used
colloquially as a greeting in a fashion similar to ~what's happening?~
or ~what's up?~.

The reply to the literal question what's loose is of course ~everything
that's not tied down~.

Sorry for the lame german humor, but when Chris responded with that
translation, I couldn't resist.

Good explanation.

Just a small correction regarding your first post:
The german answer:
"Alles etwas nicht gebunden!"
doesn't make any sense for a german, who is not hardened by babelfish.

"Alles, was nicht angebunden ist!"
would be the correct reply for someone who wants to place himself at the top
of any "Joke-of-the-day-Hitlist".
BTW: babelfish makes this to:
"Everything that is not tied up!"

> Sorry for the lame german humor,
Yep, you're right - that's indeed lame german humor. <g>

This group is for English "classic"; for English.NET try searching the

Chris,

sorry, I don't get it. This seems to be C++ syntax - how do I use this in
VB??

Thanks,
Emil

Weiter so! :-)

Gruß,
Emil
