Actually I never considered that possibility, although his post did seem strangely out of character. Now that you mention it I can see that his post /apparently/ comes from the same time zone (-0400, wherever that might be) but it does seem to have been created using a different version of Outlook Express (apparently version 6.00.2900.3664) wheras all the other "Nobody" posts I have just looked at appear to have been created using version 6.00.2900.3028. I must admit that I don't know much about the different versions of Outlook Express, nor do I know how to "fiddle" newsgroup postings or emails, so I cannot really be certain that anything in those headers is actually kosher. By the way, I agree with what you say about people using false names on the group. I always suspect that there must be something seriously amiss with people who do that. An obfuscated or a false email address is usually fine (avoidance of spam and all that) but a false name is very suspicious. Were there any others? I've seen this news server drop messages before. I've had some of mine drop in the past which I attribute to technical issues on their end.
