under the "Windows" menu, the tile is greyed out"
Looks there there is no MDI form in the IDE.
All the windows seem to be free floating and not contained
Wierd???

Go to Tools->Options...->Advanced and you will probably see that "SDI Development Environment" is checked.

I've long considered the VB6 IDE to be beautiful, and I greatly envied
all you programmers who got to have it while I remained an 11 year old
stuck with VB4...  On the other hand, the VB4 edition of Dan Appleman's
API Tome and other programmer's reference books were all fantastically
cheap, and often on clearance.  I learned so much from $50 programming
books that I got cheap at yard sales and book fairs.

I must have been the only 11 year old alive who wanted to meet Dan Appleman.

And I still think VB6 is beautiful.
