Excel has their analysis toolpack.

Does M$ publish these functions anywhere in MSDN so they can be used in VB
Classic (VB5/6)?

I didn't find anything in a brief search.
You can use them from VB6 through the Excel object, provided the add-in is checked the users Excel.
