I am new to the VB and VBA world. Does anyone have any good web sites or
books that they have read and would recommend for ramping up on VB and VBA
fairly quickly?

Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks.

You might want to be more specific.
If you mean VBA for Office there are different
newsgroups for that. If you mean VB, do you
mean VB 5 or 6? If you mean VB.Net then there
are also other groups for *that*

If you mean VB 5 or 6 then you're at least in the
right group. :) In which case you might want to
explain more about what you want to do. There
are good sites with sample code and sample projects,
but not much in terms of tutorial sites. VB is not
officially supported by Microsoft anymore. For books,
most bookstores still seem to have a few VB books,
but you have to differentiate those from VB.Net.
To my mind the best beginner books, which might
be available online, are:

VB and VBA in a Nutshell - O'Reilly (language ref.)
Visual Basic 6 Complete - Sybex (starter sample code)
