I am trying to develop a small app that will populate a pulldown from
information that is stored in a application config or settings file.
This info can be stored in XML but I need to get it to poulate my
form.

I am using vb.net and visual studio 2005

Any links or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

Then you need to post to a group that has "*.dotnet.*" in its name.

This is a ClassicVB group.

Hi Mike,

You can use My.Settings and bind to them.  For details best to ask in the
dotnet newsgroups such as microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb

So why didn't you give him that answer in the
..Net group, where it belongs? He reposted there 5
hours before your post here, and got an answer
there 4 hours before.

Piss off, McCarthy. Just redirect the man to the correct group and that's
it! Anyway, what are you doing back here causing trouble again after such a
short absence? Surely lambing time isn't over yet?

Yeah, and apparently the guy had already gotten the help he needed, where it was
readily available, after I'd redirected him, *before* we had this unwelcome and
off-topic intrusion.  Hard to see how that's anything but an attempt to cause
trouble.

On second thoughts, perhaps it isn't lambing time at all down there, what
with your upside down seasons? Perhaps you took time off to attend to
something else to do with your sheep. Perhaps the sheep dip is about to
mature or something? Whatever it is, I wish you'd go back to it and stop
deliberately trying to annoy people here. Why won't they let you back on the
VB.Net group by the way? You've been missing from there for a very long
time, many months. Or are you actually on there, pretending to be somone
else perhaps?
