    Personally I'd prefer an explanation to an "OT".
I never follow "solitary" links, and I don't understand
why people do it. I figure that if someone can't bother
to write a sentence or two explaining what they're
talking about (or rather what they're not talking about)
then it can't be very important.

I agree with you there. If the person is too lazy to provide a little bit of
information about a link it probably isn't worth looking at.

FWIW, damage already done, here comes a sentence or two.

This is a tool to recover data from a corrupt hard-drive. It is shareware,
so the 'free' version is limited in how many dirctories/files you can
recover at a time. To recover more files, you have to start all over from
the beginning.

On the page there is also a tool to recover mails from a corrupt .pst file.
