I guess that means that about 80% of people who use VB6 get their software perfect the first time. :) I don't understand why anyone bothers to even pay attention to this kind of thing. It's just nonsense marketing. And they weren't even giving away prizes. :)

Bitch. is your Company using?" Does that mean which has passed QC and allowed through WU? No mention whatsoever on that Q of actually coding against it. I think we have our "twist the figures as much as possible" champ, already, too. No competition there. Heh...

However neither classic ASP or ASP.Net is a program > language > with PHP/Linux-Unix server, from Microsoft's point of view. Also, like the Windows Script Host and the IE DOM, ASP is a specific script tool, with its own rules, that is at least somewhat subject to Microsoft's support decisions. The survey is an attention-getting ploy by Microsoft. It's not presented as being any more than that, even by its authors. So naturally they're graphing Microsoft's progress in terms of 1) How many people are using MS tools and 2) Of those, how many are buying the latest MS offerings. Given that Microsoft has a long tradition of extreme parochialism, it shouldn't be surprising that their survey is only interested in Microsoft products and in when, not if, the public is buying them. :) Hi,
