Some of you may recall that, a couple of months ago, I asked for views on
the importance of coverage of VB 6 v VB.NET in the online magazine I was
preparing to publish. Well, my deadline has arrived and the first issue is
now online:

www.bitwisemag.com

For starters, my VB columnist is sticking to VB6 but we'll add VB .NET
coverage in a few months.

Another subject that arose from the discussions in this forum was some
people's belief that Borland's Delphi offered a better migration path
between Win32 and .NET programming. I duly made notes of the comments people
made here and when I met Borland's VP of Developer Relations, David
Intersimone, recently, I made sure to ask him specifically about Delphi's
benefits (or otherwise) for VB developers. I shall be putting that video
interview on site in about a week to 10 days. I hope it may be of some
interest.

In the meantime, if anyone has other topics that you'd like to see covered,
please let me know (btw, does anyone use other Basic such as IBasic,
RealBasic or LibertyBasic? Are these products of any significant
interest....?)

best wishes

Very good - particularly for a first issue.  Hosever I should note that I
was far more interested in the review of the astronomy programs than any of
the language coverage, so perhaps you should also seek the opinions of
others...
