Matt
Hi,

I have an application that I give to customers for free to use.  This
application has no protection and I have into problems with competitors
using it.  I want to protect a new release of this application but do not
want to make it difficult for customers to use.  Any ideas on how to protect
my application without making it troublesome for customers?  I do understand
I cannot completely protect it however I want to make it as difficult as
possible to copy/use it.

Thanks

It's (always) a tough call. Do you spend days/weeks creating your own? or
just buy something specifically designed for the task.

fwiw, I've been looking at this product recently...

Ken,

Thanks for the reply.  I was looking at that product as well.  I also have
looked more expensive software protection like
http://www.softwarekey.com/swk_products/plus/ .  It is a tough decision on
how much protection do I really want.

Thanks
