how can I determine the maximum size of a bitmap that can be assigned
to the TabPicture property of a SSTab control without clipping or any
other kind of distortion?

An imagelist control packed with a bunch of different sized pictures? <g>
That's about it though. There've been more TabPicture questions this week
than in the last 3 years put together <g>
