Hello I do not know how I can update the CurrentPrincipal with my
username of my DB
Anybody knows how?

CurentPrincipal?  Is this a VB.Net app?  If so you need to ask in a
newsgroup with "dotnet" in the name as this group is for VB 6 and earlier.

Visual Basic does not have anything called CurrentPrincipal. Are you sure
you are not using an imposter of some kind?

However you are doing this it would seem to me that the user name of your database would also have
to be a valid domain or local user with valid password.

But as the other posters implied changing thread ownership isn't natively supported in Classic
Visual Basic.
