Mapping a new 'Network Place'I've got a logon script that I need to change for a small set of
developers to standardize their machines. The challenge is to create a
folder (actually several folders) in the Nethood 'special folder'
instead of a shortcut. Creating a shortcut works using vbscript, but
is not very clean when the users navigate to it since we have multiple
trusted domains on our network.
I've attached a couple screen shots to hopefully clarify what my end result is... Thanks. +----------------------------------------------------------------+ | Attachment filename: nethood.doc | |Download attachment: http://www.codecomments.com/attachment.php?postid=1611416 | +----------------------------------------------------------------+ -- lilary ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Posted via http://www.codecomments.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ "lilary" <lilary.1oz***@mail.codecomments.com> wrote in message microsoft.public.scripting.vbscript.news:lilary.1ozn5q@mail.codecomments.com... > I've got a logon script And don't attach screen shots in non-binary groups, regardless of size. Now I could be wrong, but in case I'm not, hopefully he'll take the advice to heart. If nothing else, I hope he learns the difference between "link" and "attachment"!
