Verify DCOM version in code

Hello all,
I want to verify in my code what DCOM version is installed in the equipment
client and to execute the installation in necessary case. Someone can help me?

Q232003 explains how to do this for W95/W98 systems. On others, DCOM is not
a manual installation. It's there by default.
