The dropdown list contains three fields I want the end user to see, but I'd
like to format how this dropdown is presented.  I want to add spaces
between each field so it's not just one long string.

Fixed the issue. 
Just fomatted my SQL Select Statement via the Smart Tag's "Configure Data
Source" to include the ' - ' between my fields to be shown in the dropdown.
